Echelon Movie starring Jason Statham

Stunt coordinator Simon Crane is set to make hi directorial debut with Echelon, an upcoming thriller action movie based on the novel Firewall written by ex-SAS soldier Andy McNab. the story follows Nick Stone, a former SAS soldier turned agent for hire, who finds himself caught between the Russian Mafia and western secret agents trying to get their hands on the Echelon computer program. I heard that actor Jason Statham is likely to get the lead role as Nick Stone. There's no official release date yet. Here's the blurb of the novel:

Plot:

I guess Jason Statham is fit for the role, he actually already played the role of a ex-SAS soldier in the movie Killer Elite.
